SEEPING UNDULATION tea pavilion

Located in the environmentally dynamic flood plain of the Sagamon River in Allerton Park, the

outdoor tea pavilion is a social focal point with a program that diversifies over time. The

pavilion’s formal and informal activities modulate in flux with the seasons. Educational

programs explore the history, traditions, health benefits, varieties, and flavors of teas from

around the world. The pavilion also provides a restful gathering node for hikers and a secluded

place of recess for attendees of the Allerton Retreat Center.
